Nusa Dua, located on the southern coast of Bali, is a scenic area known for its beautiful beaches, luxurious resorts, and serene atmosphere. Bali vlog, Bali 2023 travel guide beaches in Nusa Dua are some of the most beautiful you will find anywhere in Bali.Nusa Dua is famous for for its water sports and will find a huge selection of water based activities to enjoy there including jet-skiing, parasailing and banana boat rides,and you can also go diving off the coast. Number 10. Pura Geger This Balinese temple perched on a cliff is usually among the top 10 attractions in Nusa Dua due to its majestic surroundings and grand architecture. Pura Geger, one of the region's most important cultural landmarks, is a short walk from the beautiful Geger beach. The tranquil temple, which offers magnificent views of the bay and Mount Agong, impresses with its intricate stonework that stands out against the tropical vegetation. On full and new moon days, it is a wonderful place to spend a few hours of solitude. Pura Gegar is one of the most famous attractions in Nusa Dua and is located south of the famous Gegar beach. To get to this temple, you have to follow a path up a cliff from the beach, and there you will find a pretty Balinese temple surrounded by twisted tree trunks overlooking the sea. The temple itself may be small, but one of the main reasons to come here is the view over the water. Number 9. Pasifika Museum This tranquil oasis dedicated to art is one of the must-visit attractions of Nusa Dua. The museum is located near the Bali Collection and showcases the work of a number of European artists who moved to Bali and then made art on the island. The largest museum of artifacts from the Asia-Pacific region displays an impressive collection of 600 paintings, artifacts and sculptures from 25 countries, including Vietnam, India, China, Indonesia, etc. As a welcome change from the usual tourist attractions, the Pasifika Museum displays an interesting collection of works of art by various artists from the region. A lovely café overlooking the lush gardens and fountain is a lovely place to relax after the museum tour. The Pasifika Museum is a wonderful museum in Nusa Dua, although unfortunately many people don't even know it exists. There are also galleries dedicated to local painters, and you'll also find an Indochinese gallery as well as a Polynesian exhibition. As if that weren't enough, you'll even find pieces by the likes of Paul Gauguin, Rudolf Bonnet, and Emilio Ambron, and if you're an art lover, don't miss this place. Number 8. Water Blow Water Blow is one of the best natural attractions in Nusa Dua and as the name suggests, it's a giant blowhole meaning you can watch the water flow from the sea into the sky. Experiencing the sheer power of nature as giant ocean waves crash onto the jagged limestone cliffs is indeed a sight to behold. One of the best places in Nusa Dua for a rendezvous of oceanic beauty and splendor, the Water Blow is a must. You can follow the signs along the panoramic promenade of Nusa Dua to reach this place of beauty. As you marvel at the unexpected surf and spray of the crashing waves, you should also capture some stunning shots. The hole is the result of a narrow rock formation and is located on Nusa Dua Beach near the Grand Hyatt Hotel. Be sure to keep your distance from the blowhole, as it can be powerful and it can get dangerous if you get too close. Number 7. Serangan Island This tiny island, also known as Turtle Island, is a worthwhile day trip, especially with children. The quiet island boasts a beautiful mangrove forest, a hatchery for green turtles, and a beautiful beach. While the spirituals can visit the Sakenan temple, the outdoor enthusiasts can try their hand at fishing or surfing. Previously accessible only by wooden boats, the island can now be reached via a small bridge just 25 minutes from Nusa Dua. You can take a boat directly from Nusa Dua or Tanjung Benoa and here you will find a pretty conservation center dedicated to caring for injured turtles and reintroducing them back into the wild. There is also a hatchery here and the baby turtles are then released on the local beaches when they are old enough to fend for themselves. In addition to turtles, you'll also find birds, snakes, and other Balinese wildlife here, and this is a great day trip, especially for anyone interested in marine conservation. Number 6. Puja Mandala What could be more encouraging than witnessing 5 religious places of worship standing together on the same premises? Puja Mandala, one of the truly unique places in Nusa Dua, is home to a traditional Balinese temple, a Buddhist temple, a Protestant church, a mosque and a Catholic church. The serenity and spiritual atmosphere of the place will surely fill you with peace and make the visit worthwhile. Puja Mandala means "hill of worship" in Indonesian. So I didn't pay for my stay, but I wasn't required in any way to make this video. I made it because I wanted to. September 2017 Sofitel is one of the well known beach resorts in Nusa Dua, Bali. They hooked us up with a very nice room with direct access to the swimming pool - which is probably one of the coolest features of the hotel. The service was great, and I think the breakfast buffet was excellent. It's a laid back place to stay in Bali, so laid back and relaxing, that my wife and I barely even wanted to go anywhere when we were staying there. Sofitel in Bali is the type of resort where you can just stay the entire day, relaxing, and swimming and not go anywhere. As for the beach, it's not the most amazing beach. The views are fantastic, but for actually beach swimming, it's not the best you'll see. Also another drawback I found is that Nusa Dua is kind of a secluded resort area in Bali. So in order to get our of the resort area you need to take a taxi, you can't just walk out and find street food. Again, I didn't pay, but I searched and found that this room sometimes goes for around $400, however it could fluctuate quite a bit by season - and I was there in high season. Looking for a Bali resort for a family holiday, or a luxury all inclusive package holiday to Bali? Then Nusa Dua may be the Bali beach destination for you. Nusa Dua has a huge holiday complex which has everything you might want to do, it's great for luxury resort seekers, families and people looking for a package style holiday to Bali Indonesia. Nusa Dua is on the east side of the Bukit Peninsula which is situated just south of Bali airport and it's quite different from the other Bali beaches which I have featured on my channel. Nusa Dua is almost an entire village to itself. Nusa Dua is more of an all-inclusive resort type of destination place, good for families and packages and those looking for a bit of luxury on their vacation, not so good for the independent traveller to Bali. There are gardens, beaches, everything you could possibly want inside a huge complex at Nusa Dua. Although you can do everything here at Nusa Dua, bare in mind that the prices here are a bit more expensive, but check out the video as I show you around Nusa Dua beach and surrounding area so you can decide if it is the Bali Beach for you. There are a few stalls selling local produce like scarves, t-shirts, hats, bracelets, necklaces and souvenirs but don't expect any bargains here at Nusa Dua. Access to the beach at Nusa Dua is available to all, but many of the sunbeds and services are exclusively for the resort guests. There are some lovely shady areas along the Nusa Dua Beach but again resort guests get priority. In general it is not a busy beach and there is lots of space to do your own thing. There is a good swimming area at Nusa Dua, and very light surf ideal for learning. There are no local warungs, stalls or cheap places to eat so your only option while staying at Nusa Dua is the resorts at resort prices. Accommodation at Nusa Dua is of a high standard exclusively in resorts, and the prices reflect this. In Today's travel vlog we took a quick trip to Nusa Dua, Bali. This is the first time we have been to the area together and we were sad to see the devastating toll Covid-19 has had on the area. Although we managed to make the best of it, we didn't have a great experience at our budget hotel as it was heavily raining all day/night and we were stuck in the room for most of our stay, with no wifi and nothing much to do except eat some nice food! It's time to change area so we head to our favourite place, a beach! However we get a bit of a strange vibe when we head to Nusa Dua beach. We were living in accommodation a little way out as it was all we could find. After a quick walk we discovered why we couldn't find anything closer. The whole area felt a bit creepy to us and being art chasers we were disappointed by the lack of any spontaneity and creativity in the area. It is a conservative fortress for huge resorts. It is a decisive place, you will either love it or hate it based on what you are looking for. James has made a vanlife sim game, available to download on itch.io.
