the Harry Potter comment doesn't stand cause she put antisemitic stuff into it
i feel like info-chan should be a rival in the future. another yandere to go against ayano at the end. the hardest rival to get rid of because she knows so much. i feel like that concept would be cool. the in-game student info system and tagging feature should be something ayano does on her own through something like social media, using in-app bios to find information on students.
Even if Yandev turned out to be a monster. I'll watch this just for a general 'What not to do' when it comes to aspiring game development
first, I wanna clarify that I am not a Yandere dev supporter but I do want to say that Ayano’s backstory of being a hallow doll was not supposed to make her redeemable, if anything, it made her more of a horrifying character. Info Chan never manipulated her into doing anything she simply gave Ayano the resources she needed to do what she always wanted.
Remember when he wanted the opening torial was to work on a play script with purple hair to learn about the elements of the murder
now that i am no longer a literal child and- oh i donno- read the dere types wiki which is completely free and easy to find, ayano is basically just a yangire with a crush- someone who goes from calm and innocent to violent and murderous with very little relation to romance.
i wish i kept up with my coding and got into models and game design in highschool, cus now that everything is happening with yan-dev, it's making me wanna make my own yan-sim
I think the idea of doing 'tasks' for your classmates, and other students, could also help you so that they are less suspicious of you. For example; the fact that you are alone all the time or acting in strange ways caught the attention of students and every time something suspicious happens they doubt you.
While if you interact with them and do things for them, they have more trust in you and also serve as a cover, for example 'I was doing something to help one of the students' and so you are not a target of distrust from teachers or the director.
It can also be applied that if Ayano acts too strange, she is a target for bullying, so you often waste time by not being left alone by your bullies and not being able to investigate.
Back when I was really into the game I loved the idea of Kokona being stuck in a time loop and stopping the murders of the rivals. I had a whole notebook written out of Ayano’s thoughts and plans
I’m sorry this is really long just my brain hyperfixated lol 😭 anyways here’s my idea for a way to fix Taro and Ayano’s relationship!
I think Taro being Ayano’s childhood friend would be a much better way of writing their relationship. Then it would make more sense for Ayano to like him to the point of wanting to kill with him instead of her just bumping into him one day. This could also make Taro the “unbeatable rival” instead of Raibaru. He could occasionally say hi to ayano when he sees her and try to start up conversation, and because Ayano always loses focus around him, it would push her away from her objectives.
This could develop over the weeks too depending on how Ayano acts. If she chooses strategy and avoiding getting her hands dirty, Taro could start to become concerned for her since it seems like every girl he surrounds himself with dies or goes missing, so he’d try to keep a closer eye on Ayano and protect her which would make it much harder to do her tasks. Alternatively, if Ayano goes blood thirsty and just recklessly murders all of her rivals, Taro will start to get more suspicious of her instead, still keeping an eye on her, but less to protect her and instead to potentially protect her next victim.
I think an approach like this would be much better for the game, making the “unbeatable rival” not as annoying and more realistic, as well as giving Taro actual character.
The cutscenes between rivals could also change with Taro going up to Ayano and being like “hey did you hear about this person being killed/missing” and then dialogue will change depending on how Ayano played out her scheme, maybe Ayano will have dialogue too either trying to comfort taro or showing a lack of concern for the girls.
This could lead to 2 main endings. One where Taro finally confesses to Ayano and she wins. In the other, Taro finally collects enough evidence about what Ayano has done, lures her to the Cherry blossom tree, and ambushes her with police. All of this will lead the player to become a lot more aware of how they act and I think this would be a much better alternative to how their relationship currently is.
Currently binging all your vids for inspiration bc on my main channel im tryna re work yandere sim into a mini series for YouTube and I need pointers on how not to make characters lol
game design is his passion
She predicted the future (a journal thing ended up in 1980s mode bc modern phones werent a thing. It should be a feature in the main game and 1980s mode is useless anyway)
Its so weird to watch old Callimara videos about Yandere Simulator and notice that most of the things she purpose to the game, are in the game now, in 1980's mode. Alex is definitely really low.
Reminds me of how 1980's sorta goes.
i dont think 1980s mode has an info chan .
Osana would make a better protagonist.. already laid out a pre-existing relationship with Senpai, and she could easily kill anyone close to senpai without drawing suspicion, and be able to console him after every death.
I'd play this version of Yandere Simulator. It feels so much less...gross. Probably because there's less taking panty shots of high schoolers (which, aside from being gross, had NO reason to be in the game) and more exploring the yandere trope through gameplay. This is what I hoped Yandere Sim would be when I was 14. This is genuinely fascinating.
eyL8lpobySw&t=4m00s 4:00 well.... I don't really agree. A lot of villain women are described by Rowling as "manly" but this isn't the point of the video so I'll just stop lol
I think it would make more sense if Info Chan was just a really nosy smart wallflower story wise. Like no one knows it’s her and “Info Chan” is a legend but in reality she’s just an insanely skilled multitasker and people watcher but seems super sweet and no one dislikes her she’s just “shy” and “unsociable”
