The GLAM-Wiki Revolution is a short documentary about the GLAM programme in the United Kingdom. The GLAM programme is a series of partnerships between Wikimedia UK, a charity which supports Wikipedia and its editors in the UK, and cultural institutions, known collectively as GLAMs (an acronym for Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums). Many choose to play host to a Wikimedian-in-Residence, who acts as a liaison between the institution and the Wikimedia community and works to open up the resources held by the institution through Wikipedia and its sister projects. This documentary gives an overview of the GLAM project in the UK by visiting Wikimedians-in-Residence around the country to learn more about the projects they have run and their experiences in the role. Bit of a WP:COI declaration here, but it would have been lovely had this super video mentioned the early innovative GLAM-Wiki work done in 2011 with QRpedia at Derby Museum and Art Gallery. I think we did get a spot on the map though!
