Only a hunting bow was in the case you opened
Fortified destruction by 100% makes your weapon enchantments last forver. More over, u can add an additional weaker enchantment and get its effects for free too. U can crank up the damage on destruction enchantment as high as u want with no recharges.
i kill mirak and alduin, and i never seen crossbow in the game
went to Fletcher's and in the cases at the back were only mundane bows, no crossbows to be seen

Someone please explain to me what it means to have a “base damage” of one number, but the damage on the screen is something else.
i have the anniversary edition and i have the dawnguard addon which i think adds crossbows but in the fletcher i only see bows

Those crossbows do respawn. I have at least 2 daedric crossbows, Nordic crossbows and silver crossbows just from visiting that shop and stealing them. Easy money.

Tip, you can go up north to the tower stone so once a day you can skip the lockpicking process as long as it isn’t a master lock,
