- Это канал King Drive, и сегодня у нас будет довольно грустный выпуск, содержащий информацию которая может не всех порадовать. Начнем с Toyota. Японский производитель официально объявил, что прекращает выпуск Toyota Camry для внутреннего рынка Японии, данная модель присутствовала там целых 43 года и вот спустя такое большое количество времени, японский производитель пошёл на столь решительный шаг. Причиной такого решения стал низкий спрос, всего за прошлый год на внутреннем рынке тойоте удалось реализовать 6000 единиц седана и данные показатели с каждым годом всё становится все меньше и меньше. Как утверждают аналитики производителя в последнее время покупатель на местном рынке больше тяготеет к внедорожником и минивэнам, а седаны потихоньку теряют свою былую популярность. Так что новое поколение Camry японскому покупателю не видать, а вот для международного рынка всё хорошо, Toyota не собирается прекращать производство седана и предложит своим клиентам в других регионах абсолютно новый кузов автомобиля который появится уже в следующем году. Стилистически Camry 80 будет очень похожа на новый краун, который компания представила ранее оттуда, же новинка возьмет и всю техническую часть, начиная с подвески и заканчивая отделкой интерьера. - General Motors прекращает производство актуального шестого поколения Chevrolet Camaro, последний автомобиль сойдет с конвейера в январе 2024 г., после чего история такой интересной модели навсегда оборвется. К сожалению автомобиль не получит приемника из-за низкого спроса на эту модель. Camaro выглядит слабым на фоне своих конкурентов в лице Ford Mustang и Dodge Challenger и в General Motors это понимают и не хотят больше вливать деньги в эту модель и планирует превратить Camaro в что-то большее, чем просто в двухдверный спортивный автомобиль. - Ford анонсировал первую отзывную кампанию связанную с новым электрическим пикапам Ford F-150 lightning, причиной отзыва стал высокий риск самопроизвольного возгорания электромобиля через проблемы с аккумуляторной батареей, вот так тебе новости. Еще в феврале стало известно, что один из электрических пикапов полностью сгорел из-за неисправностей связанных с батареей, в компании подтвердили это и начали расследование по этому делу, в результате производитель выявил подобную проблему ещё в 18 экземплярах электромобиля, которые уже были отозваны и дилеры в рамках сервисный акции бесплатно заменят в этих экземпл чарах аккумуляторы на новые. Почему именно эти 18 пикапов? Привет друзья. Toyota наконец-то представила новое поколение Tacoma. Среднеразмерный пикап получился симпатичным малым и обещает много чего интересного своим покупателям. Внешность Tacoma можно охарактеризовать - как Tundra на минималках, уж больно эти две модели похожи между собой. Toyota решила не мелочиться и предоставить своим клиентам огромную вариативность в новой модели. Новая Tacoma доступна в 8 модификациях, от которых будет зависеть буквально все: внешний вид, отделка интерьера, подвеска и даже настройки различных узлов. С одной стороны это круто, производитель вместо вас уже обо всем подумал, а с другой это создает иллюзию выбора, но в тоже время вы ограничены рамками конкретной комплектации. Кроме базовых версий SR, семейства TRD и самой роскошной модификации Limited, Toyota добавила еще одну - Trailhunter. Эта версия пикапа ориентирована на активный отдых и путешествия и предлагает огромный список дополнительных аксессуаров, а также особые 2,5 дюймовые амортизаторы, встроенный источник питания мощностью в 2,4 кВт, а благодаря специальным панелям, можно установить палатку в задней части пикапа или сделать полноценный душ.

The new exterior design further enhances strength and innovation. - The center of the hood is shaped in a way that takes forward visibility into account, while the front of the vehicle exudes power aided by the conjoined large front grille and headlamps. Other new features include LEDs for the headlamps in all cars and 19-inch aluminum wheels (machine-cut highlights and dark gray metallic coating) - The rear design suppresses the protrusion of the combination lamp and realizes a more stable stance through modification of the trim design. The interior has a more advanced design, particularly the instrument panel. - Lowering the upper part of the air vent ring (air conditioning outlet) improves visibility. In addition, the thin, tablet-style design of the navigation display adds a modern tone to the interior. Metal highlights have been added to the center cluster and dashboard to increase the premium feel. - The steering wheel was designed with attention to ease of grip, and its new appearance blends seamlessly with the instrument panel. The vehicle supports safe driving through the inclusion of the Toyota Safety Sense P collision avoidance support package and Drive-Start Control as standard features, together with the new addition of the Blind Spot Monitor The exterior panels come in a total of nine colors including the new Blackish Ageha Glass Flake (option color) and Avant Garde Bronze Metallic. The interior specifications adopt two colors including Neutral Beige. Few cars could have a better foundation for success than the Toyota Corolla, a nameplate that has appeared on more vehicles worldwide than any other. Although the Toyota Corolla has been around for more than half a century, it has always kept pace with changes in motorists' needs and preferences. That's how it has come to achieve world-record sales of more than 50 million across 12 generations since 1966. This ability to adapt with the times is just as evident with the announcement of the New Corolla. While the visible exterior and interior updates are an evolution of the 12th generation Toyota Corolla's design, more significant changes have been made to the powertrain and electronics. With fresh styling, the introduction of fifth generation hybrid electric technology, a comprehensively upgraded digital user experience and an extended range of Toyota T-Mate safety and assistance features, the New Corolla is equipped to strengthen its role as a core volume model for Toyota in Europe. Its enduring appeal is reflected in the fact it has achieved its highest market share in Europe in its history and is Toyota's second best-selling model in the region. There is "a Corolla for all" with hatchback, Touring Sports and sedan versions. These will be joined by an SUV - Corolla Cross in the second half of 2023. This breadth of choice ensures the top body style choices in different markets across Europe are catered for, each one benefiting from the same high levels of quality design and technology. The Corolla also retains a competitive advantage in being the only model range in its segment to offer full hybrid electric power, technology that delivers the kind of fuel efficiency and zero emission driving capability that are fast-growing priorities for customers. FRESH DESIGN Each Toyota Corolla body type has its own look and appeal. The new range gains a more refined and contemporary appearance with changes to the front grille mesh pattern, fog light bezels and alloy wheel designs. Higher grades of the hatchback and the Toyota Corolla Touring Sports models gain new bi-LED headlights; on High grade these come with an Adaptive High-beam System (AHS). The exterior colour choices include three new colours inspired by current trends in architecture, product design and fashion. Juniper Blue is the new key colour for the hatchback and Touring Sports, with a vibrant, flaring tone. When viewed close-up, it reveals red undertones which create a fresh effect with subtle changes in colour. For the Toyota Corolla Sedan there is new green Midnight Teal, an elegant finish that reveals a special shade effect when viewed from the right perspective. Metallic Grey, available for all body types, is a timeless shade with wide appeal, its appeal enhanced by dark silver flakes in the paint. For the interior, the mood is more modern and premium with new graphics, trims and embossed patterns that add three-dimensional depth and tactile appeal to the upholsteries, surfaces and finishes. The trim and seat upholstery combinations follow new Dark and Light Harmony (depending on body type) themes with co-ordinated colours and finishes to give the cabin a contemporary, elegant feel.

Lows Rear-seat headroom is limited, feels unwieldy to drive, third row of seats don't fold flat into the floor. Verdict The 2023 Sequoia's makeover brings it closer to its large SUV rivals, but we wish Toyota had paid more attention to practicality and driving verve. Overview The Toyota Sequoia has always been a full-size, three-row SUV based on the platform of the Tundra pickup truck. That doesn’t change with the new generation arriving for the 2023 model year. The rest does: the new model is far more modern than the outdated second-generation Sequoia it replaces, which has been around for more than a decade. The new Sequoia comes standard with the Tundra’s iForce MAX hybrid powertrain, which combines a 3.4-liter V-6 engine with an electric motor for a total of 437 horsepower. Inside, it offers a large touchscreen with the latest software, along with three-row cabin with seating for up to eight passengers. While the modernization gives the Sequoia a better chance to compete with rivals such as the Chevy Tahoe and Ford Expedition, the Toyota's interior space and cargo area hamper its practicality. What's New for 2023? The Sequoia has been redesigned for 2023 and rides on the same underpinnings as the new Tundra, Land Cruiser, and the Lexus LX600. It’s available only as a hybrid and features a new look inside and out. Pricing and Which One to Buy SR5: $61,460 Limited: $67,860 Platinum: $74,060 Capstone: $78,460 TRD Pro: $79,160 The Limited trim appears to offer the best value in the lineup. Although its only one-step up from the base SR5, it comes with a ton of additional goodies as standard. Those items include a larger 14.0-inch touchscreen, a power liftgate, 20-inch wheels, heated-and-cooled front seats, and a power-folding third row. Engine, Transmission, and Performance The Sequoia comes standard with the iForce MAX hybrid powertrain that’s optional in the Tundra pickup. This powertrain is comprised of a twin-turbo 3.4-liter V-6 engine and an electric motor that produce a total of 437 hp and 583 pound-feet of torque. The Tundra’s 10-speed automatic transmission carries over to the Sequoia SUV as well. Rear-wheel drive is standard, with four-wheel drive optional on most versions—and standard on the off-road-oriented TRD Pro model. The four-wheel-drive Sequoia Capstone we tested accelerated to 60 mph in 5.6 seconds and reached a quarter-mile in 14.3 seconds at 94 mph. That's quicker than the last GMC Yukon Denali we tested, but somewhat slower than the Ford Expedition Timberline. The TRD Pro also comes with off-road equipment such as upgraded Fox dampers, a front skid plate, a locking rear differential, and forged 18-inch wheels with 33-inch tires. During our initial test drive, we were pleased with the Sequoia's comfortable ride and quiet cabin, but less so with its on-road driving behavior. Its extra-wide feeling on the road makes it hard to place in a lane—something we've complained about in other large SUVs too—and its featherweight steering effort can make it feel twitchy when cruising. When we get a chance, we'll put the Sequoia through its paces at our test track and update this story with test results. Interior, Comfort, and Cargo The Sequoia’s large interior continues in this new generation, with a third row of seats as standard equipment. A second-row bench setup with eight-passenger capacity is standard, with optional second-row captain’s chairs reducing the number of seats to seven. Headroom is limited in both of the rear rows, particularly when equipped with the optional panoramic sunroof. With a wide range of trim levels available, the interior trimmings run the gamut from cloth to leather upholstery and varying levels of wood and chrome trim as you walk up the price ladder. Higher trim levels offer features including heated and cooled second-row seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a premium stereo system. The Sequoia's cargo area isn't as accommodating as other rivals.
